The housewarming party was a success! My rice balls were not but the pineapple tree was eaten in like 5.5 seconds. If we're Facebook friends then you can check out a photo of it. Before the party Steven and I quickly zipped over to Ace Hardware to pick up a party light bulb. Yes, please say that with me, a party light bulb. This light bulb made it all the way home even after a quick trip to a U-pick dahlias field right near the apartment; they were having a 10 for $8 special. As I was arranging the dahlias into vases at home, the party light bulb blew out just moments after being placed into its socket. I mean really, this stuff does happen to the best of us.
