Bits and pieces of Portland - here we come the paupers that we are!

Portland Classical Chinese Garden – Check out Tao of Tea teahouse. Take the Old Town Chinatown podcast history tour--in a bicycle rickshaw! Call 503-Pedicab. Eat at least once at these places: Davis St. Tavern (happy hour), Ping, Mandarin House (never been but came highly recommended - upstairs on SW 1st & Ankeny), Oldtown Pizza (happy hour starts at 9 till close, $2 wells and $1 pizza (cheese) slices, coolest place ever to just hang out and drink), Saucebox (trendy and hip), 21st bar and grill (best kept outdoor patio secret), Portland City Grill (views of everything from the 30th floor) and Voleur. The Brody Theater? Comedy improv in the 'hood! Early show is "Antiques Improv"; late show is "Icarus". Someday Lounge has shows every night. Rent bicycles from Waterfront Bicycles, cruise the waterfront park--and beyond. And a visit to the Kennedy School and have a few drinks in the Detention Room!
