kiss me again oh that calls themselves Spring

i hear the sounds of birds More... i see people out and about More than usual, people on their bikes and street pots full of daffodils Galore. i'm given an entire hour of sunlight once i leave the office and OH what an hour it is. ***i sigh*** spring is upon us and i'm loving every tantalizing minute of it. to feel the sun on your face is absolute pure JOY. i helped steven last night with one of his writing assignments, i thought to myself i want to dress up as a smurf for halloween this year and i made an extremely delicious dinner comprised of chicken, chipotle french fries and what i like to call an everything salad. yum! i watched steven crack open a coconut using a hammer borrowed from our dear old friend/neighbor Alex (see photo below) and then i got suckered into watching America's Top Model (i like Claire) followed by some perusing of what's new in the Podcast world. i'm digging the series produced by the channel federator. and wouldn't you believe i still haven't started not but one art project. oh Spring, will you please give me that extra little nudge i need and kiss me already... (a sneak peek to my weekend project). and i want to learn Dutch again. my mom emailed me the other day with: goede morgen, alles gaat goed hier en met jouw. de wind waait en het is koud. ik wens je een goede dag en het allerbeste. and sure enough i was able to translate it. yay for me! i also found a link to another blogger regarding her take on Nader stepping up to the plate for Presidency. read here. i could go on and on about my political views on such matters but i choose to leave my blog political-FREE! so far this week and the last i've been watching a number of propaganda documentaries. talk about stirring up my emotions and causing me to tear up. the things that are happening in this world are not fair. things have gotten so way out of hand and i don't even know where to begin with 'what's wrong with it all.' if anything when i went to post a comment to her blog it asks for you to type out a series of letters. this 'additional' extra precautionary measure is to make sure that a live human being is posting a comment and not a robot. hmmmmmm... i wonder what the next 'catch 22' will be? welcome to the Digital Revolution (how corny does that sound...) someone, you know who you are just jinxed things. sun today, rain tomorrow and Saturday. i knew it! it was too good to be true. xo. p.s. i think everyone should take tomorrow off. celebrate leap year day with a leap. he he~
