What has Natalie been up to? I have been up to 'much' and 'nothing' ALL lumped into one. I was able to visit my boyfriend for a long sweet November weekend to the Windy City about two weeks ago. What amazing fun we had! Up, up way up high I managed to come down with a head cold before arriving in Portland and have been recovering from that madness ever since. I have told everyone that I’ll be back to my normal self by the middle of the month. Work is going exceptionally well for me and I’m so, so very close to exceeding my goals, both trimester and annual. I just found out that my cousin, Christian who lives in Romania, just had a baby girl. Her name is Mara. Congrats! and I've come to the bittersweet realization that I’m more of a photographer than a writer my friends. I’ve come to accept this and wish I felt more confident in my writing skills. But alas, I have a more casual way of approaching the written word. Why do we as humans always critic certain things about ourselves more than other areas of concern? So you wonder what I’ll be up to in the next couple of weeks is… drum roll please… sign up for a photography class (I know, I know, I’ve been saying this for weeks but I’m tossing around with the idea of signing up for a class once I buy my new camera) and heading to the Portland Art Museum more frequently now that I have a yearly membership (recently acquired and complimentary).

I like how you write. You're like my muse! Have you seen the movie: "The Muse" Sharon Stone is in it. Photography class sounds like fun! My next door neighbor teaches photography at the Community College as well as PSU.
