Thunder shaking the house.
Pumping my own gas.
Lightening streaking through black clouds.
Fireflies.

These are a few of my favorite things . . .

but sometimes, when I just don't feel like moving, I miss the days of forced assisted-gas pumpage. I used to get very frustrated when I was in a hurry and I couldn't just pump my own dang gas. I guess that's not too much of an issue for you at the moment. When it is raining and cold, I suppose I didn't mind so much.

We put together a little community band for the 4th of July, and we performed last night. It was quite enjoyable -- we passed out flags, and everyone was waiving the flags during Stars and Stripes Forever by Sousa. We had about 13 folks in the band -- just enough to sound really good.

i am not the biggest fan of this whole "using me when i is the appropriate word" thing. lets examine and consider which sounds better and more educated:

Me like backbends and pizza.
I like backbends and pizza.

Just like Paris and Jessica Simpson have illustrated, it isn't always the best option to make yourself seem less inteligent that you really are. Comeon people!!! Flex those brains - they are sexy!

I agree, let's learn to speak a little more intelligently. Use the pronoun "I" appropriately instead of "me", whoever wrote that brains are sexy...is so right!
