we all have our days. ups and downs, if you will. the bumps along the way are just to keep us in check. bring us (me) back down to earth. this saturday, we meet at doug fir. kristina, jennifer, jenny, jen, jan, susan, marguerite, michele, jill and brook. i'm just fresh all out of ideas. awaiting comments, where is HL?

"Falling" in love always sounds a bit fragile or dangerous to me. Can't it be something like "relaxing in love" or "leaping in love" -- something that sounds safe and reasonable and positive? It's as if we assume the broken bruised ending before we give it a chance to go somewhere.

Falling isn't safe . . . and I don't even think it is necessarily reasonable. But positive, yes, I think falling in love is certainly positive, especially if jointly falling. Solitary falling is never fun, and it hurts when you land alone.
