monkey see, monkey do

last night, i couldn’t help but to watch ‘extreme make-over edition.’ as you know, these guys really help families out who are on the brink of poverty (or are just able to make ends meet). the show is heading up a tour to each of the states and they started with a family in north pole, alaska. a single mother shared a 900 sq. ft. home with 13 family members. can you imagine? the show made them a house over 5,000 sq. ft. this show always gets me to bust out into tears. if anything, i always think of my family/friends and how much i love them and how good we have it.

this week’s objectives:
• to finish (a) book per week. current read: family and other accidents by shari goldhagen
• to get into (2) sitcoms: men in trees and 6 degrees (premieres this week)
• eat smaller portions and start working out again.
• and listen to more music: luna, rendezvous is some good stuff…

and what do you think they should fill that ‘hole’ at ground zero with? at best, the hole won’t be filled until 2012. [i stood once looking down at ground zero and burst into tears… it is a very eerie feeling knowing what happened on 9.11].
