another post for today. i have to say its quite interesting how everyone tapes off sections of street line to watch the starlight parade - which doesn't even start until 9 tonight. its all territorial, like a dog marking off his area by doing you know what. people use tape, chalk or chairs to designate - this is where _____ posse plans to sit. they leave it all unattended too! makes me love Portland even that much more. oh, so i have a pet-peeve. i hate walking into shopping stores such as nordstrom. i like trying on different kinds of lotion, etc. why not? they are there to sample. right... you don't always have to purchase something. am i wrong here? anyway, i guess i take things sometimes the wrong way myself but as i was trying on some eye lotion, this pristz comes up to me and says 'can i help you... (stops in mid-sentence) and says 'you, yea, you've been here before.' to me, its like saying 'why don't you buy something already.' dude, either i'm right or i need to chill out ;). well, i'm meeting up with the autry clan this evening to watch the parade. should be fun...
