front right window - raven's viewing spot.the T-word. i’ve always wondered what those totems represented that stand tall in jamison square. yesterday started out just like an ordinary day [yea, um, about that] but after hurdling through another fun-filled day of work [yes, i can say, without a shadow of a doubt that i love what i do for a living], the day ended with a trip out to the ball park. portland beavers vs. albuquerque isotopes. we had front row seats all to ourselves and no, i do not have (six) toes. ;) my energy levels were sky-high and i think it was the bottom of the 5th and after my second hamburger that i finally calmed down and stopped the ‘giggling’. the ‘new’ girl is such a tool [JUST KIDDING]. she makes me laugh and i think she’s a great addition to the team! i took a bunch of photos last night – some really great ones – but were lost due to my goofing off in trying to capture photos of the full moon. it was such a clear night, did you see it?
i received a letter from my sister, jehan, today. in it was a newspaper clipping out of the macon paper about portland and its streetcars. after reading the article, i felt it difficult to breath for just a second because i am living out a life [my life] in portland, oregon. oh and jehan, yes, i’ve ‘been there’: “it’s a beautiful library, the one in seattle makes you feel like a pod person!”
