"life is changed, not taken away”

tomorrow is mother's day. i love you MOM!

met up with jen at 5th and washington last night. an interesting tidbit: we both work on 921 SW - jen on washington, me on 6th street. it was a crowded happy hour at the portland city grill. what us girls talked about is going to be my little secret. ;) but i can say there might be a book published sometime soon - a series of short stories. ;)

this am, in a matter of 8 minutes, yes 8, i can see mt. st. helen's in the far distance. my morning coffee run-run to forest park-the dragonfly coffee house gave sight to the following book, hope for the flowers: a must read. the story of stripe and yellow. i like the plot but the spiritual aspect of it isn't something i agree with. its the story of two souls that learn the value of uncertainty and waiting...all of which what makes the world go round..., right? ;)

may 17th is bike day in PDX and my flight out to ATL. [got comments? this is what i call 'asking' for mass-attention. don't we all just want to be loved, the mother-womb syndrome, eh? so show me some love.] okay, time to go. its a gorgeous day. off to meet (2) friends from work...and a message to michele: sew it. start a trend...
