I took only a handful of photos from our Thanksgiving dinner and they were all of the above. (insert a moment of silence here as I scratch my head a couple of times). So anyways, to make roasties all you have to do is parboil quarter sized potato pieces, sprinkle them with salt, then place in a glass dish with a layer of already piping hot vegetable oil and bake for another 30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. I think heat oven to 400 but I need to confirm this with Steven or his mom. One piece of advice: be very, very careful when moving dish in and out of oven.
