we are Family.

Sifting through all the hundreds upon hundreds of photos from our England trip, not only is that time consuming but also emotionally draining; in a good way of course. I loved the time we spent with my boyfriend’s families which of course made me think of my own and how much I wish we could see each other more often but that's the price I pay for living so far apart.  My plan is to post more short stories from our trip over the next few weeks.  For starters, I cried for joy when Steven and I found the place in London where my mother use to work back in the day. She worked at the YHA located in Holland Park and in the below photos you will see me standing in front of the youth hostel where my mother and father caught their first glimpse of one another.  Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!  Standing in the very same spot!!! It still gives me goosebumps everytime I think about it.  Earlier in the day as we exited the Tube and made the long way up into Trafalgar Square I cried again by the grandeur of London itself. I'm one tired puppy yet I mustered the energy to post a few photos onto Facebook last night. It probably will take me a few weeks to truly get a good album online and to come down from this cloud I’m on right now. And to Steven’s family, a huge thanks from the bottom of my heart for making our stay so wonderful.

Stayed tune... more to come.
