If I'm not mistaken, that is the quintessential shot from a 101 scenic vista of the Heceta Head Lighthouse near the seal caves. I've got several different versions of that picture . . . it's funny.
Last time I was there with R, I'm pretty sure we got a similar picture -- except he was hanging off the front instead of the back.
