She brought us there too when we visited Portland years ago. I think it is a beautiful area, love Oregon!
Nice pictures, did you take the car?

Yes we did. It's now parked safe&sound at her house. We took the Belmont bus #15 home - now, that bus route stinks. I prefer the #20. Relaxing at home before another busy work week. xo

The food at Bread and Ink cafe is so damn delicious. I had the grilled shrimp burger and Ste had his usual, breakfast food. They just opened to the side of it a place called the Waffle Window. I'm going to have to go back to try one of their delicious savories. Yum. We bbq some water buffalo last night that Ste acquired, hehe... Less fatty (lean) compared to the usual burgers I munch on.

It is quite a beautiful spot at Rocky Butte. It was a beautiful day but the mountains were difficult to see due to the haze.

I'm going to make a pork chop dinner with fresh veggies I picked up this morning! This weekend feels like it was all about FOOD!

Lovely spot, that Rocky Butte. I thought the new view of Ikea was funny. It wasn't there when I lived in the area. Looks like you still got a decent view of Hood. Could you see St. Helen's?

And I will not forget the crab hollandaise on English muffins . . . mmmm.

Love me some food. I'm making a stew/roast (my roasts always morph into stews . . . and I try really hard) out of a deer loin. Hope it turns out well. I mean, with two cups of red wine, what could go wrong?
