living in a banana republic

i took a stand this afternoon before i left work on a certain little, itty-bitty matter that i believe was not taken very well. i normally shoot for keeping myself right under the radar, happy-go-lucky and allowing 'unsaid' matters to just pass me by. and as usual my angry silence is replaced by thoughts of what's for dinner? do we have enough milk to make the alfredo sauce? should we watch the state of the union address or not? i digress...back to the heart of the matter, yes, i said 'heart' of the matter. i understand there are policies/rules to be followed, etc. but isn't there also 'room' to question the timing of them? i feel sad by it all because i was completely misunderstood. and now i wonder if i will be given a second chance to explain my concerns regarding these 'unsaid' matters ???

i need to communicate better with others and i wish they communicated better with me. - natalie page 53 susan sontage on photography writes 'the myth (you can't ever take a bad photo with a camera) is tenderly parodied in a 1928 silent film the Cameraman, which has in inept dreamy buster keaton vainly struggling with his dilapidated apparatus, knocking out windows and doors whenever he picks up his tripod, never managing to take one decent picture, yet finally getting some great footage - by inadvertence. it is the hero's pet monkey who loads the camera with film and operates it part of the time.' the below video depicts the mood i was in today. and in response to the article most of you received from me entitled "you are what you eat", steven responded with:
I have never set eyes upon such absolute nonsence...Guess what? Did you know that oranges help your immune system with the vitamin C that is in them, and guess what the immune system looks exactly the same as an orange!! Yes its true have you ever seen an x-ray well that huge orange thing in the middle is your immune system. When you get sick huge oranges form in your blood and then attack the illness!! WOW amazing it's almost like i just completly made that up but don't take my word for it because David Bjerklie from TIME Magazine has even written an article about it WOOOOOW now thats journalism at it's finest someone please give this man a round of applause!!
