Today here in MI everything is damp, it rained last night and the countryside looks bedraggled and everything here is made from wood not bricks... sigh I miss the bricks of the city there is just something comforting about them... more stable, lasts longer than wood! What’s your take which do you prefer mankind’s structures to be built from…
A. Wood B. Brick C. Jelly D. Steel and c is not very practical but it would be the most delicious building ever especially if it was furnished with jelly beans! YUM that reminds me of Hansel and Gretel Muahahahahahaha… X
that was one of my favorite childhood stories. Hansel and Gretel. my mom had a record that told the story but it was all in dutch!
my take is that brick is the stronger of them all. the three little pigs knew best. especially that third one! :) so i'll huff and i'll puff and NO, i didn't hit a brick wall. i just like bricks.
COMMAS MAY NOT BE USED IN PLACE OF A PERIOD. SUCH USAGE IS CALLED A COMMA SPLICE. AN ELIPSIS HAS THREE PERIODS, EACH OF WHICH ARE SEPARATED BY A SPACE. A RUNON SENTENCE IS NOT ONLY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND BUT ALSO GRAMMATICALLY INCORRECT. A QUESTION SENTENCE SHOULD END WITH A QUESTION MARK. A COMMA ALWAYS PRECEDES A COORDINATING CONJUNCTION INTRODUCTING A NEW CLAUSE.
and i hate the police. the word police makes me all antsy. whoever is responsible for sending such telegrams should be ashamed of themselves, looks like k.sutherland (a favorite show of yours 24) is locked up for something similar that i did. hmmmmmm... thanks for the reminder kiddo and bug off with your grammar reports. save 'em for an actual essay paper. --note to everyone else reading this i'm highly emotional right now. middle of the month hormones kicking IN!
Did you notice that the grammar policeman made errors in his telegram? "Introducing" is spelled wrong; "run-on" should be hyphenated; and "ellipsis" is spelled wrong.
