rami, jehan and jasmine - i think we all need 'The Darjeeling Limited' in some form or other~ WATCH the trailer HERE. it hit me hard. as if my heart just fell out of my chest because i love you guys so much. times a wasting... i could learn so much from you if only you were more in touch with me. yes, i am having a moment here. let it be. as you watch the trailer, my sisters, when owen wilson says 'is that my belt' and the brother says while hesitating at first 'ummm, yea, can i borrow it' made me think of ME always borrowing things from you guys without your knowledge. i'm working on that. seriously. i can't help it that i have sticky fingers.
The Darjeeling Limited plot outline: three american (one canadian the rest american) brothers (1 brother and 3 sisters) who have not spoken to (seen) each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India (the united states) with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other -- to become brothers (siblings) again like they used to be. their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. at this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins.
ha ha ha! this is but a dream of mine. i wonder how the 4 of us would handle such close quarters. i think it would be definately fun yet an eye-opening experience to say the least since we haven't all hung out, truly hung out, in years. anyways, tomorrow marks another day. october 1st. it has triggered a countdown counter in my head for X number of days till my trip to the beach, my mother's birthday, my 2 year-anniversary in Portland, my trip to Chitown, my birthday and till i drink my next cup of tea.
enjoy your week all you beautiful people!~

I'm into heavy dark movies. Check out some great action and fight scenes in the Eastern Promise with Naomi Watts and Viggo Mortensen. Although the name darjeeling reminds me that I need to brew a nice cup of hot tea!
