my weekend Trip to Boise, Idaho and back!

the map, I-84/use to be Oregon Trail and words to the wyoming cowboys fight song
a genetically engineered poplar tree farm. so many slender trees growing in dense, tidy rows. weird.
the blue mountains
at first we thought smoke signals from a typee but it turned out from the smell that we just passed a potato factory

another state entered
we skipped a trip to Utah by a few drinks
the dusty passings of a kid rooting for the other team
my ticket back into time. college that is.
the boise basin area
downtown Boise
back on the road again. a singled out patch of green farm land
bug cemetary. Mile 4.
halfway between the north pole and equator
wind turbines in the far off distance
gushing winds
farm country
kite surfing on the columbia river
a whole weekend of dryness and as soon as we were 80 miles from portland the rain finally set in
back home safe & sound and tired.
