In my neck of the woods a weed is a plant that has been defined as a pest by law or regulation.

is a dandylion a weed?

and the river ganga is considered to be sacred gurl! i think you might be a shaivites, a worshipper of shiva. the sanskrit word śiva is an adjective meaning kind, friendly, gracious, or auspicious. is this why you named your cat shiva?

Lord Shiva : Shiva is the third deity of the Hindu triad of great gods, the others being Brahma and Vishnu. Shiva is often referred to as the Destroyer, but it might be better to think of him as the God of Transformation, since he is often associated with creation that comes out of destruction.

A weed is any plant that is growing in a place where you don't want it to be.

the weed is a sad plant. nobody likes the weed...

I don't think weeds are sad. They are defiant! They say, "screw all of you, I'm growing right here, tall and proud damn it, and I don't care who doesn't like it!"
