they call it bao. tina treated me to a salad roll and a bao this afternoony. lots of sauces to pick from too! a total of 4. now, back in the office, natty looks at tina from her desk and sends the telepathic message 'dance with me!! get up and dance in your office!!!!' then tina responds with her hypnotic cultish callsong 'i love music so much….this stuff BUMPS!!!!'

banh bao (bánh bao in vietnamese) is a ball shaped dumpling with pork meat, onions, eggs, mushrooms and vegetables inside. the steamed bun often has ground pork, chinese sausage and a portion of a hard boiled egg inside.
i had a bao stuffed with curry vegetables. me not so fond of steamed bun, hon.
