nuvrei is the center of the universe and it was closed. soml. snowboarding again this sunday, san fran in mid-june and time to visit the FAMILY

the butters gallery is the one right across the street from me. and there is an ART in knowing how to express oneself. i consider talking to be an art form. i tried talking to various artists but they all were so shy and bashful. OR perhaps i'm just use to talking away upintotheclouds ;) the rain caused me to end my art gazing short. jen, see you on the 5th, cinco de mayo fest! fest!

so at this very moment i just thought of that little trash receptacle located in a playground called the efteling. another childhood vacation destination [holland] and a very fond memory. it was a place where nursery rhymes were brought to life through mechanical objects. there was this one object that fascinated me as a child and that was of a trashcan. but this was no ordinary trashcan, the top of it was in the shape of a strange old bugger's face and for some reason it caught my attention. the bugger's mouth was wide open and when you placed your trash infront of its mouth it would SUCK it right out of your hand, like a vaccum. the voice of the trashcan said 'paper here, paper here' but in dutch of course. below is a photo of another favorite: long neck.

i was puddering around the internet this pm and found yet another informational website: the neighborhood notes (see right for link). i posted a comment today about 'here i am' and received the following response. hi there natty, thanks for your post. i just visited your website and look forward to reading more. :-) i moved here in July 2001 and am a 37-year-old freelance writer. it's a great place to live and work. it appears that you value being happy and positive as much as i do. woohoo! -- its so cool to meet new people.

and i have this beautiful friend who makes me smile because she ends her sentences with a backwards smiley face. (: i don't have the heart to correct her :)

and i'm going to end all my entries now with the following:
listening to: charmparticles.
reading: still trying to finish miss misery. ugh!
most amazing thing that happened to me today: feeling passionate about certain projects, did the best i could to make hotel arrangements for family members, bought toilet paper: another item that i wouldn't mind having an endless supply of.
worse: almost getting over my aches and pains. and i blog because i've noticed that i don't remember things very well.

i wish i could be a little more 'with it' but i guess that is what makes me, me! regarding the time difference.

as for NY, NY... you have many options per the email i sent to you with instructions. the challenge you face right now is that you didn't give me a large enough booking window so its going to be hard to find you something HL affordable ;) we can actually talk about this more over the phone.
