Question, if one is unhappy in their life but unsure of what to do, how do they figure it out?

Anonymous said...

being unhappy is a modern phenomenom because one has time to think about it and not be after food and hiding from predetors all the time. That doesn't make it any easier I guess. The reasons should be clear, but the remedy isn't.

who's giving the advice here? he he...

the fundamentals of not being happy are:
1. you are carrying baggage from bad experiences
2. you are surrounded by idiots. these idiots (aka socalled friends, boyfriends, etc.) don't make you feel good and beautiful. abort now!
3. understand that life is way too short to even consider being not happy.

pick your chin up...

and the advice from anonymous sounds animal like. we are not animals! ;)

We ARE what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

Thanks Natty for the advice. You seem so happy and it makes me take a look at my own life. I can say with all honesty that I can not remember the last time I was truly happy. How sad is that? What's worse is to have someone tell you that, which someone did. To hear it makes it real. To hear those words "since I have known you I have never seen you truly happy". At times I feel like I am just exsisting not living.

sorry...forgot the MR
yes...not animals is true, yet I do think that people in lands of famine and struggle view happyness differently.
Baggage should be something that can be disposed of.
and yes, your friends should be chosen wisely; quality over quantity always. people that can look in the mirror and not have to throw up. Happyness shouln't depend (entirely) on other people, past or present, an appreciation of the little things seems important.

whoever you are you must start with loving yourself. make yourself feel better. that is the only way to break that nasty habit of yours. ;)

i struggle still with things BUT i have to say i love my life because i'm surrounded by amazing people that take me for who I am.

start off slow. go for a drive, turn the radio up loud and act all cool like you're a movie star!

If you think that you are too small to make a difference, you haven't been in bed with a mosquito.

here's a random fact, the longest one-syllable word is 'screeched'

and Jen, Kori and I are heading to the www.fabricateevents.com event on June 10th at the Wonder Ballroom.
