today is Sunday and i am one sore puppy! unlike my previous living arrangements in Portland, this morning i woke up to the city and the hills as the backdrop. the only sounds i hear come from buses and the occassional hoot of a trains or boats horn. other than that, its very quiet. i've unpacked most of my stuff and arranged things, with the help of Jen, late last night. now, i just need to get my kitchen and bathroom in order and i'm good to go! you'll have to call me so i can tell you more about 'the move' from Overton to Davis.
you know what i think is interesting about this place is that they have a trash shoot. |is that what you call it| you don't have to bring your trash down to the 1st level. you just walk to the end of the hall and there it is along with a serious recycling program. yeah! the laundry room is also a couple doors down. well, i need to get some groceries! i should make a list!
