manifest destiny

last night, jen and I went to the soaking bath at the Kennedy School in North Portland. 'a ceramic work of art, this tiled pool sits in an outdoor courtyard surrounded by gardens (formerly where the old Teacher's Lounge was located). the general public is also invited for $5 per person per hour. pool is available on an hourly basis. valid ID required. hours: daily, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.' we chatted about new forms of energy to use (words such as sequestered and encapsulated were used), bush in brazil (how funny if you really think about it), commercials and much, much more. AND we both were overloaded by all of the eye-candy to be had. and jen, you go girl, gutso is a first date with a guy to the soaking bath. ;) jan and gina met up with us afterwards at the Courtyard restaurant (also in the Kennedy School) and then we decided to dance, dance babe! at GoodFoot. i saw John again for the first time in ages (remember mom, the guy who helped me out with the couch when you were in town). so today has been awesome so far. i took the elevator down one floor to Kristina's apartment with my coffee mug in hand. she's just swell! ;) we both are stoked about heading out to the mountain in the morning! my current read: miss misery.
