kristina backpacks Hawthorne this evening. what is it about Hawthorne? when things happen in droves, there is so much to see and of course many are here to be seen. this is the place where its okay to stare at the local hippies. and every 15 yards or so there is the struggling musician who seems to be more piss poor than the last. coincidentally, we ride past Jens' apartment and there she was with a neighbor jumping her car, the trusty honda. we leave for Red Ridge Farm in the morning. i hope tomorrow turns out to be just as beautiful as today.

We chipped our hearts out this weekend. We rented a chipper (heavy duty), and spent hours (HOURS!) lugging logs and shoving them into the Fargo death trap. Thankfully, we didn't lose any limbs, but now we have a lovely pile of mulch.
