Quote
“Don’t follow the path. Go where there is no path and begin the trail. When you start a new trail equipped with courage, strength, and conviction, the only thing that can stop you is you!”

To me, the above quote means you shouldn’t follow the path of others. It would be better to start your own path, to be yourself, than to lie to yourself, and others, about who you are and who you really want to be. In this class, I need to work hard, and not follow the trail of those who do not want the challenge of doing their best. In life outside of class, I shouldn’t allow others to influence how I act or my likes and dislikes. It is more important to be a unique person who has the strength to make her own decisions than to be a popular person who is just like everybody else. The quote means you should stand up for what you believe is ethically correct. This quote helps me realize that I need to take chances and “start my own trail” every once in a while, instead of continuing on the crowded one with everybody else.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both
For being one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could, to where it stretched in the undergrowth......I took the road less traveled, and that has made all the difference.
