11 days left

another jen siting last night. its funny how often we see one another on the streets of portland. 'time to go...' ta ta for now.

i just got a flat screen moniter at work! OMG - she's a beauty. i have so much more desk space. where it should be located?
  • the recommended monitor height places the top of the monitor screen at approximately seated eye height.
  • when seated at the workstation, check that the “gh” keys of the keyboard are centered with respect to the center of the monitor and your navel.
  • the recommended monitor distance is arm's length from the body (this distance can be lessened if eyesight is an issue). if you wear progressive/bifocal/trifocal lenses, then the monitor can either be further than arms length so that you use the upper portion of the glasses or closer than arms length and lower than eye height so that you use the lower portion of the glasses. the purpose for this adjustment is to keep your neck straight.

and i've started to date again. the definition of dating = go out with someone of the opposite sex and become friends. who'd i like to meet: does that really matter? the internet, my friends, is a really lame/lazy way to meet someone.

my latest knitting project -
its growing and getting bigger by the day.

do they knit? i'm sure NOT. ;)

ash street saloon - this is the place to be. post located half block from my apartment.

Internet dating can be a useful tool especially when people are so busy working and have limited time to actively search for others. It works for some, and it doesn't for others. Is it a lazy way....no, i don't necessarily think so but in someways, you are sitting in front of a computer exchanging cyber words, so the next step is to say...let's meet up, go for some coffee and chat for awhile. I have seen love eventually blossom from this.
