poor raven ~ with no AC he takes a lot of naps.

sitting on my deck, small as it is, makes me wonder if others are with such an awesome disposition. from my deck, i got to talking with my neighbor and we both agree that the for sale sign in front of our building as of 2 days ago actually gives us something to look forward to – moving out. today, i mentioned to r. that i would like to live in the hawthorne/hollywood area. we figure that IF the building sells we have at least 3 months to vacate. fyi – when it comes to my living arrangements, this is when i hold up a sign that reads: privacy please. knowing my landlord was working on the building next door before going into the lease, seeing him pretty much on a daily basis was nothing out of the ordinary. now, i can look forward to not thinking will i bump into him before i get home. this 98 degree weather in portland is happiness-sent compared to 98 degree weather in atlanta. and to my little goat owner(s), no AC, heatwave i can take it – only a few more days ;). there is also a constant breeze here helping out with the ‘warmness.’ after getting my laundry done (i spent a majority of my afternoon in the basement of our building since it was so nice and cool) and with a few quarters to spare i went for a ride and ended up at the rose garden.
