which way is love? on my way soon MOM

my Rf factor: sometimes i get a little too excited ;) as we gingerly browsed aisle for aisle at the saturday market, i found myself a few notches [that excitement factor] higher than normal infront of my favorite booth. the one where i bought my first hat. the lady remembered me and was fine with my picture-taking frenzy. [hint, hint, the hat in the photo above was not crochet'd or knitt'd but was made with a sewing machine, hmmm]. ;) the rings shown below are all from a store called exclexion. melissa, the owner, remembered me as well since i've had to buy the same ring three times [blame it on my 'eject button']. you can find melissa on the 1st floor of the skidmore fountain building. the soundtrack to the movie gardenstate was playing in the background. songs like the shins: caring is creepy, zero 7: in the waiting line, frou frou: let go. good movie too: love the scene where he just screams at the top of his lungs. nice...

the debates over health insurance, no casino and a better school system make my head spin. just do something already about it. who does someone have to slap around here to make things happen? this is why i don't get too involved in the political scene. the universe will eventually slap you, why not do it now? i also think that much of what is going on as a whole is just a big cover-up in not addressing any of the issues with 'action'.

i can't wait to write about my time spent with my family next week. so when i get back from the ATL, plans are to have a 'natalie FINALLY settled in portland' party. i'm thinking: my place, saturday night, bring a date, bring yourself, bring your appetite and everyone has to bring something hand-made: its a mid-year exchange. message to my friends, pick a date in june that works best for you. once i get enough responses and determine the date where all of us can get together, i'll send out an update.

this morning, i ran my tail off! i even made it about a mile into forest park and back. i actually like running on trail better then i do on concrete. go figure...i'm about to head out to get some keys made to my apartment, buy dropjes and check out the uptown phil's market at 17 NW 23rd place. everyone should buy their 'meat' from there. ;)
