here are some words i've come across that i had to look up. its cool. i can accept defeat. despondent means loss of hope, vestige means a trace, mark, something that has passed away, ecumenical means general or universal, corpulent means fatness, stodgy means dull or uninterested. i helped paint (two) rooms in jens' apartment last night. it was fun and i now have the 'urge' to paint. hmmmm... i'm thinking my kitchen needs some color in it. currently, my walls are white to match my black and white tiled floor. i need some color in my life. things i'm working on: looking for a bike, a road trip out to Joseph, hike more around mt. hood, learn some arabic (yes, i've found a CD in hopes i can learn a few words), pick up a 5th guitar string, run a half marathon and the list is just endless... i need to write a few letters as well. jen called me boy crazy the other day. i didn't think much about it until now and she's right... there are so many boys to look at. ;) something new? classic movies of which i want to go see (playing this week only) is SKETCHES OF FRANK GEHRY and FREE admission to portland art museum on memorial day: 10 am - 5 pm monday. that also reminds me of another good movie to watch: the triplets of belleville. oh the irony, O' IronY! the sad always remain sad ;)
